This month and nearly all of 2020 have certainly not been characterized as months of perfect 20/20 vision but instead have been time of blurred understanding, fear, anxiety, and great concern as we find ourselves in the almost unthinkable coronavirus pandemic. So many have struggled and suffered during this time. Therefore, we at Cable Tie Express thought it most fitting to make this month selection be a charity that is helping those in a most direct way with the impact of this pandemic. We are happy to direct our charity Beds Plus.
Located in LaGrange, IL Beds-Plus, has been working for over 30 years to provide help to the homeless in the Cook County suburbs. As of April 28, they are currently helping about 250 of their most vulnerable clients through the Covid - 19 pandemic, including veterans, domestic violence survivors, people with chronic health conditions, and behavioral health conditions/disabilities. All is being done with great diligence to ensure the healthy and safety of all in their circle from the staff and volunteers to the communities.
